TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SHOPPING WITH ENCHANTED IVY

We all know that shopping is exciting and fun but there are odd occasions where everybody needs to know where they stand. In shopping with Enchanted Ivy’s website you are agreeing to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions of use, which together with our privacy policy govern Enchanted Ivy’s relationship with you as a customer of this website.


PRICING

All our prices are in Pounds Sterling do not include delivery charges (which are added at the checkout stage) and are inclusive of VAT at 20%.

All prices are as accurate as possible, and we make every effort to ensure that there are no mistakes, if we do find any inaccuracies on the site Enchanted Ivy reserves the right to amend these errors to the correct prices without prior warning or notice.

 

PLACING AN ORDER

To place an order simply select the products you wish to purchase by clicking on the "Add to Bag" button. Once this task has been completed please proceed to our secure checkout page.

On receipt of your order we will send you an automated Order Confirmation email confirming your order number & summary of your order.

If you do not receive this email within 24 hours of placing your order please email us at enchantedivygifts@gmail.com, please note before doing this always do check your junk mail folder as some providers may have blocked our email entering your inbox – to avoid this happening again please mark our message as safe.

When you receive your Order Confirmation please check the details on this email, including billing address, delivery address and items ordered and let us know if anything is incorrect so we can make the appropriate changes before your order is dispatched.

 

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION 

Every care has been taken to ensure that the images and descriptions of products on our website are as accurate as possible and give a fair reflection of the product for sale. We do all that we can to ensure that all information given such as dimensions and specifications is correct. Sometimes it is possible that there may be errors. Enchanted Ivy will correct all such errors as soon as it can after we become aware of them.

While we take great care with our photography exact colour matches to photographs cannot be guaranteed.

Please be aware that vintage style items by their very nature may not be in perfect condition. We will always state clearly any imperfections in the product descriptions. 

DISPATCH AND DELIVERY

Please Note: Our website will only accept orders for delivery within the UK. If you are interested in buying from outside of the UK, please email us at enchantedivygifts@gmail.com for delivery costs.

Our standard UK postage rate is £4.95. A signature will be required upon delivery

For guaranteed next day delivery £7.95. Please order before 1pm. 

We endeavor to process and dispatch all orders as soon as possible but we guarantee within 2 working days (working days do not include weekends).

Items are dispatched using either Royal Mail 1st or 2nd class signed for delivery service or Parcel Force signed for service, to the address stated for delivery when you place you order. It is important that this address is accurate. A signature will be required.

 

PACKAGING

At Enchanted Ivy Gifts we are doing our bit to help the environment, by re-using and recycling packaging. There is so much clean and fit for purpose packaging available that we may send your order to you in a box which has been used before, this may mean that your order comes to you in a wine box or the box from a child's toy, but we are more than satisfied that it is clean and fit for reuse. We take pride in ensuring that your item reaches you in one piece and we are sure that you will be delighted from the moment you hold your item in your hand.

 

International Delivery 

Enchanted Ivy Gifts will endeavors to dispatch to anywhere in the world. Please contact us at enchantedivygifts@gmail.com for delivery costs. If costs are acceptable to you we will then send an invoice for payment, we will do this via Paypal.

If your delivery address is not within the United Kingdom, you may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. Any such additional charges for customs clearance must be paid by you. You should note that customs policies vary widely from country to country. You should be aware that cross-border shipments can be subject to opening and inspection by customs authorities. If you have any questions regarding customs we advises each customer to contact their local customs office for further information.

International may include some parts of the British Isles if you are in any doubt please email us at enchantedivygifts@gmail.com to confirm.

 

RETURNS

We really do hope that you are thoroughly enchanted with your purchase however, there may be occasions when you wish to return items. Please ensure that you have taken the time to read our terms and conditions, by placing an order you are stating that you have read and understood them.

Cancel Purchases

Under distance selling regulations you have the legal right to cancel your order within 7 working days of placing your order. Please do this by email to enchantedivygifts@gmail.com. If your item has NOT been dispatched will arrange a full refund as soon as possible.

Return Purchases

If the product has been delivered to you and for any reason you wish to return it, it is your responsibility to return the goods to us in the original packaging in the exact same condition which they were dispatched to you in, within 14 days of the delivery date. You must inform us of your intent to return by emailing us at enchantedivygifts@gmail.com We recommend you use Royal Mail's 2nd class signed for service but return postage costs are entirely at your own expense. Please ensure you package the item appropriately as we will not be liable for any damages in transit, and a refund will not be issued if items are damaged upon return. Please note that we will not refund the original postage costs on returned items.

As well as returning the goods in absolutely perfect condition please enclose your sales receipt

Unless the goods are defective, damaged or not as specified on your Order Confirmation please note that postage & packaging costs are not refundable and any costs which you incur for returning the goods are at your own expense.

You will receive your refund (excluding original postage costs) or replacement within 7 days of us receiving the goods back. Refunds can only be issued back to the original method of payment.

 

DAMAGED or FAULTY GOODS

We take utmost care in ensuring that items are well packaged when they are dispatched in order to prevent damage in transit.

In the unlikely & unhappy event of your goods reaching you damaged please inform within 48 hours of receipt of the goods by email at enchantedivygifts@gmail.com we would be grateful if you could provide us with proof of the damage with photos of the relevant item, and the packaging which you received it in.

On receipt of the photos we will contact you to arrange either a refund or replacement.

Unauthorised use of this website may give rise to a claim for damages and/or be a criminal offence.
